Long Beach’s Historic Districts and All They Have to Offer

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of attending one of the Long Beach Historic District’s seminars on the local historic districts, presented by the Rose Park Neighborhood Association, at the beautiful Villa Riviera.  What a treat!  Not only is the building architecturally breathtaking, full of history and a display of an amazing attention to detail,  the information provided and neighbors in attendance were priceless.

John Royce (President of the California Heights Neighborhood Association) and Jill Griffiths (Planning Officer with the City of Long Beach) spoke of the requirements for selling and restoring a property in Long Beach’s historic districts and the importance of working with a REALTOR® that understands, appreciates and can fully inform their clients of not only these requirements but the beauty and community that is created within each association.

Please feel free to browse through the Long Beach Historic District links in my blog to virtually explore of each district in Long Beach.

PS – Don’t forget to visit the Victorian Christmas at the Historic Bembridge House Sunday, December 2nd from 12pm to 4pm (located in the Willmore City/Drake Park Historic District).  I hope to see you there!
